Supervision and Psychotherapy
As some participants learn this technique, they begin to think about applying it to some of their own issues. Depending on the issue and your desires, one or several sessions of psychotherapy could be arranged, as appropriate. Participants could, of course, stay in their own therapy and perhaps use that venue as a place to help process some of the experiences that came up doing chairwork. This is, in fact, one of the most powerful ways of gaining mastery of the technique.
Another way to approach this is to get more supervision, and this could be arranged in either an individual or group setting.
